FLINT RIVER RANCH PET FOOD
Selling Flint River Ranch dog and cat food is a "business opportunity" that deserves to be addressed separately from the other business opportunities discussed throughout this site.
The reason?
Adding Flint River Ranch to an existing pet-related business is an excellent way to compliment almost any existing business and generate additional revenue. Pets have to eat and Flint River Ranch is a super premium brand with only natural ingredients that will help pets live a longer, healthier life.
And don't just take my word for it. The Whole Dog Journal has picked Flint River Ranch as one of their top dry dog foods for the last three years!
And once you acquire a Flint River Ranch customer, they'll always come back for more, generally for the life of the pet.
That's why selling pet food can be a great way to expand a pet sitting or grooming business, for example. You already have customers who know and respect you. They probably even ask your advice from time to time about pet foods and diets, etc.
CUSTOMER FOR LIFE
Recommending a quality food that helps pets and their owners is something you can do in good conscience and feel good about!
It also allows you to build a relationship with that customer over the life of the pet. Most pet owners stick with one brand of food for the life of their pet. And with the trend toward super premium, all natural brands, Flint River Ranch is well-positioned to be that lifetime food of choice!
HOW THE FRR BIZ OPPORTUNITY WORKS
There are two ways to profit from selling FRR:
- Sell the food and earn a 19% commission on each sale
- Train and recruit other people to buy and sell the product and make bonus commissions on THEIR sales, too!
In the spirit of full disclosure, I am a FRR distributor myself. I primarily sell the food from my website. I make money two ways using this method: I sell the food and get my monthly commission checks from FRR, PLUS I mark up the food by adding a couple of dollars to each list price so I make a few extra dollars on top of the commissions. I justify this method because my company offers a lot of personal service. Yes, the same food can be bought cheaper elsewhere but FRR is just one of hundreds of products we sell and our philosophy has never been to compete on price alone.
Anyway, if you're interested in all the gorey details of the bonus commission structure, you can find it here on our website:
FRR Commission Structure
WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND
I don't mean to gloss over the commission structure but the bottom line is the more you sell the more you make. And if you can recruit other pet owners to sell the food, too, you'll make a percentage off what they sell as well.
But more importantly as far as I'm concerned, is being able to make a reoccuring sale to a pet owner. It's the perfect foot in the door to be able to upsell them other pet products and services. And the fact that the food is highly rated and you can make a few bucks along the way, all the better.
In terms of "training" and "sponsoring" other people to sell FRR, let me tell you: I've been selling FRR for over three years and I have about a dozen people in my "downline" and you know what? Not one of them has ever sold or bought a single bag. Not one! Oh, believe me, I've spoken to them on the phone and emailed them and tried to get them going but I can only do so much before I throw up my hands in frustration.
People constantly sign up for business opportunities and expect the things to make them money without lifting a finger. You know the type?
Anyway, I'd rather focus on just selling the food myself. At least that I can control.
HOW TO ACTUALLY SELL FRR
Ok, so you might be interested in buying & selling FRR (yes, you even get commissions on the food you buy for your own dog). But you're not sure how the whole thing works. No problem. Here's what you'll need to succeed:
Your Own Website
Remember, the beauty of FRR is that they drop ship the food for you directly to your customer. You do NOT need to carry any inventory. As a result, selling from your own website is really the best way to go.
Want to sell it in your grooming salon?
You'll have to take the customer's name, address and payment, then order the food for them.
You order the food via an 800 number or, more simply, via the distributor extranet. The extranet is nothing more than a passowrd-protected website where you login and place and pay for your order.
WHAT YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND: Your customer is paying you for the order and you in turn have to place the order for them with FRR and then pay for the customer. After the first order, the customer can place their own orders directly via an 800 phone number or directly off the main FRR website. When someone buys from you they will get their own account number which they'll have to use wherever and whenever they order so you'll always get credit for the sale no matter where they buy.
WANT TO BECOME A DISTRIBUTOR?
To simply buy the food and earn commissions on your own purchases ( a minimum of 100 point value a month to earn commissions; $1 = 1 PV) just order the food from my site or any FRR authorized reseller and you're on your way.
To be able to earn commissions and sell the food to others (as well as start a downline which you can do but don't have to) the annual fee is $35 a year. But you have to become an Associate first, which is free.
